Nadolig Llawen
Welsh Christmas Cards
Welsh Christmas cards painted in the colours of a winter valley: a grey stone chapel with its row of cottages and an old bridge over the stream, a slate-roofed cottage with a shaggy pony in its shelter, and a white lighthouse on the cliffs above a calm sea.

About these cards
Each card carries the Welsh greeting Nadolig Llawen, “Merry Christmas”, set beside the painting in a flowing hand, never painted in, so it stays sharp on a phone or a large screen. Your own words go underneath.
Look closely and the scene is alive. The chapel bell swings and rings every half-minute or so, and mist drifts over the stream. The pony lifts its head and its breath clouds in the cold; the cat in the cottage window turns to look. On the clifftop, the lighthouse beam sweeps slowly round while a boat’s light bobs far out at sea. Snow falls in three depths, smoke leaves the chimneys, and every so often a gust sends snow streaming off the hills.
They are made for anyone with Wales in their heart: family in the valleys, cousins far across the water, and friends who learnt a few words of Welsh at school and never forgot them.
Questions
How much does a card cost?
Each card is sold on its own, with nothing that renews behind your back. The prices page shows every price, in dollars, pounds and euros, with the pack of ten and the year pass. See the prices.
Can it arrive on Christmas morning?
Yes. You choose the day it should arrive and we keep it safe until then. It travels by email, or you can copy the link and share it yourself.
Can I stop the animation?
Every card has a button to stop it, and on a device set to reduce motion the card moves more gently, with the busier effects left out.
