Slate Cottage

What moves in this card

• Snow falls in three depths, with the odd gust of wind that sweeps it sideways and lifts loose snow along the ground.
• Smoke rises from the two chimney pots and leans with the wind.
• Firelight flickers in the windows, and the lantern by the red door glows.
• The pony in its shelter lifts its head now and then, its breath clouding in the cold air.
• The cat in the window turns its head from time to time.
• When the wind gusts, snow streams off the mountain tops.
• The crescent moon glows softly, stars twinkle, and a shooting star passes from time to time.
• Snow slides off the roof and lands in little heaps, and frost glints on the snow.
