Happy Birthday

Winter Birthday Cards

Birthdays in December, January and February deserve a card of their own, not one lost among the Christmas post. These are painted for the winter-born.

A note from the shopkeeper

About these cards

A birthday cake with eight candles stands on a windowsill. Snow falls past the frosted panes, a robin sits on a branch outside, and a tabby cat sleeps on its cushion beside the cake.

Touch the card, or the button under it, and the candles go out one after another, with thin wisps of smoke rising from each wick. Make a wish: after a few seconds they light again, ready for the next one.

The card says Happy Birthday, and your own message goes underneath.

Questions

How much does a card cost?

Each card is sold on its own, with nothing that renews behind your back. The prices page shows every price, in dollars, pounds and euros, with the pack of ten and the year pass. See the prices.

Can it arrive on the birthday itself?

Yes. You choose the day it should arrive and we keep it safe until then. It travels by email, or you can copy the link and share it yourself.

Can I stop the animation?

Every card has a button to stop it, and on a device set to reduce motion the card moves more gently, with the busier effects left out.
