The Wooden Mountain House

What moves in this card

• The lantern by the door swings gently on its hook.
• The horse’s breath clouds in the cold, and the sleigh bells catch the light now and then.
• Firelight flickers in the windows, smoke rises from two chimneys and far-off lights twinkle on the mountainside.
• The Christmas tree lights blink, changing their rhythm every few seconds.
• When the wind gusts, snow streams off the peaks and loose snow skims along the ground.
• Snow falls in three depths, slips from the roof and the branches, stars twinkle, a shooting star passes and frost glints.
