What moves in this card

• The barn owl on the sign slowly turns its head from side to side, tilts it now and then and fluffs its feathers, breathing softly.
• The long-haired tabby on the parcels looks round now and then, the tip of its tail sways and its side rises and falls as it breathes.
• Smoke and steam rise from the little green engine on the viaduct, its lamps glimmer and light glows in the carriage windows.
• Both lampposts glow and flicker, a small flame dances in the nearer lamp, and firelight flickers in the station windows.
• Lights twinkle in the village far off, stars twinkle, a shooting star passes from time to time, and now and then a few birds fly over.
• Snow falls in three depths, slips from the station roof and the fir branches and lands in little heaps, the odd gust lifts loose snow along the ground, and frost glints on the snow.
