The Christmas Cottage

What moves in this card

• The eleven little candles on the Christmas tree flicker, each at its own pace.
• The robin on the fence post glances left and right, cocks its head and fluffs its feathers, and the cat at the window looks round.
• Firelight flickers in the windows, the lantern by the door glows and smoke rises from both chimneys.
• Snow falls in three depths, with the odd gust that lifts loose snow along the ground.
• Snow slips from the thatch and lands in soft little heaps, and frost glints on the snow.
• The first stars twinkle in the pink sky, a shooting star passes from time to time, and now and then a few birds fly over.
