Advent Candles

What moves in this card

• The four candles of the Advent wreath and the seven little candles of the carved arch flicker, each at its own pace.
• The room behind the glass glows softly with their light.
• The gingerbread heart sways gently on its ribbon.
• The cat asleep on its cushion breathes slowly.
• The robin on the snowy sill glances left and right, cocks its head, fluffs its feathers and breathes.
• A drop forms at the tip of an icicle on the gutter, falls, and glints as it lands.
• Outside, the street lantern glows and the windows across the lane flicker with firelight.
• Snow falls in three depths, stars twinkle, a shooting star passes from time to time, and frost glints on the snow.
